Critters are not my friends and should stay in the woods!!!

I got up this morning to cooler temperatures, sun shining, smile on my face! Made coffee and opened the door to let the dogs out.
I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES! There, on the deck floor, laid my planter with all the plants out of it. The pepper plant evidently took a hit when the planter fell as well as the dragonfly solar light.
At this moment in time, I wondered why I even bother to try and grow things on my deck!
I know, "they have to eat too" and oh, "they are so cute". Well, yes they do and yes they are but not on my deck! Let them go to your house and tear up your plants or vegetables, or stay in the woods. I am not in a very good mood right now. I apologize!
I re-potted the planter and put it back. Took the pepper from the pepper plant and put it in the refrigerator. Going to pitch the solar light. Washed all the soil from the deck!

Theory - Raccoon decided to visit. Checked out the bird seed, pushed the water twirler aside as he walked through the birdbath, got as far as the first planter on the end of the deck. He climbed up and grabbed on to the edge of the planter. Because he is so heavy the planter popped off the 2 x 6 and down it came hitting the other planter on the way. Of course, the raccoon got a fright and took off, leaving me one large mess to clean up!  That's my theory and I'm sticking to it!

Hope your morning was better!

This is what I saw when I went out on the deck

Most of the flowers are intact and my squash

Where it's supposed to be
that's the solar light and broken pepper

Not a light weight planter - all replanted. One broken Vinca
